Welcome Pack Info

So, you've finally decided to get all your digital services in one place, and from Virgin Media. Well done! After you have signed-up and - hopefully! - before your install date, you should receive a 'Welcome Pack' through the post. Here's what's in it.

Main Welcome Letter

Contains details of your installation date and time.

Also included is a small, detachable, credit-card-sized piece of paper with the basic user details of your account. You might want to keep this in a safe place.

   

Consumer Hire Agreement - Statutory Notice of your Right To Cancel

Under Consumer Law, you have a 7-day "cooling off period" in which you can cancel your contract with Virgin Media without penalty. If you cancel after this time, and within you first year, you will probably have to pay to get yourself out of the contract. This will probably be the equivalent to the rest of your first year's contract.

   

Direct Debit Info

Payment other than by Direct Debit will cost you an extra £5 per month, so DD is the best option. This page confirms the information you gave to Virgin Media when you signed-up.
