Virgin Media now now use a system of Traffic Management on all their broadband services. Basically, this means that if you either upload or download more than a certain amount between certain times, then your connection speed will be reduced. The figures are explained in the graph below this box.

APRIL 2008
Virgin Media are now offering support for wireless networking, but only for the kit that they provide. This is a pre-configured Netgear WGR614 and a Netgear USB Wireless Adapter for either your laptop or desktop. The kit is free if your are on the L or XL broadband packages or, if you are on the M package, the router is £40 and the adapter is £20. Conditions apply. For full details click here.
